Job summary

A leading services provider in South Africa is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper. This role involves managing multiple accounts, ensuring data accuracy, and adhering to financial regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience, a relevant tertiary qualification, and proficiency in Sage One Cloud Accounting and Microsoft Excel. You will work closely with entrepreneurs, providing essential financial analytics and bookkeeping services to support their success.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ bookkeeping experience working with multiple companies.
• A tertiary finance or bookkeeping qualification (non-negotiable).
• Experience managing between 16 and 22 companies.

Responsibilities

• Create new companies on Sage One Cloud.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of all data captured.
• Maintain a minimum bookkeeping quality score of 85% per quarter.
• Capture source documents and perform full-function bookkeeping.
• Prepare VAT reports for all VAT-registered companies.
