  • Assist the Maitre'd in overseeing the daily operations of the dining room, including managing reservations, seating arrangements, and service flow onboard the cruise ship
Responsibilities
  • Train, coach, and supervise dining room staff to ensure high-quality service standards are met
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dining room, ensuring it meets company standards
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, resolving any issues that may arise
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and dining room
  • Assist in creating and implementing new menu items, promotions, and special events to enhance the dining experience for guests
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of guests and staff
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and budget management
