Responsibilities
  • Assist the Hotel Storekeeper in receiving, inspecting, and storing all hotel supplies, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that all items are properly labeled and stored.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Hotel Storekeeper.
  • Assist in the distribution of supplies to various departments on the ship.
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area at all times.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of all team members and guests.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all team members and guests.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or cruise ship setting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems.
