Job Summary

Provide specialist advice and support in implementing and developing operational planning and associated service delivery processes, methods, and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain professional relationships through networking with industry leaders, regulators, policy makers, and business partners to develop new ventures.
  • Business Development: Champion and manage the strategic plan for bulk business acquisition in line with Absa's business unit strategy.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research by reading articles, publications, internet sources, and networking daily to stay updated on market developments.
  • People Management: Coach, mentor, and manage team members to achieve business objectives and foster colleague development.
  • Operations & Compliance: Stay informed about relevant legislation and industry developments that may impact the Business Advantage.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required). Professional qualifications are preferred.
