Africa Talent by Deloitte (Africa Talent) is a standalone division of Deloitte, owned by Deloitte Africa and Deloitte Netherlands, based in South Africa. A member of the Data Analytics team, you will assist with applying data analytic techniques to increase an organisation’s capacity to anticipate risk and maximise business opportunities through data driven insights. Deloitte’s deep and thorough understanding of underlying risk and control issues, combined with our knowledge of technology and analytic skills, uniquely helps us to identify high priority risk areas in our client’s businesses and explore those risks using data analytics.
Successful candidates will have demonstrated their ability to carry out data analysis from initial requirements gathering through to production deployment and operations. They should have a demonstrated interest in solving analytics challenges using many different techniques and technologies and a commitment to personal learning and development in this discipline. Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to a wide audience are a must.
Expertise in data transformation and modelling analytic results, you’ll formulate conclusions and recommendations to client stakeholders, leveraging strong consulting, communication, visualization including storytelling skills.
