Job Description:

Your Mission:

We are seeking an Affiliate & PR assistant to work alongside our PR, Affiliate & ATL Manager to support with the recruitment and management of the our clientaffiliate programme. You will be looking after predominantly our Editorial Content and Social Content relationships.

In this role you will both oversee your own roster of current partnerships, as well as manage a pipeline of new partnerships. You will use your razor-sharp communication skills and knowledge of affiliate marketing to help recruit new content and social partners on to our programme and turn them into successful affiliate partners, contributing to YoY revenue and traffic goals.

As part of your role and development of editorial content partnerships you will research relevant media outlets, onboard new partners where needed, draft pitches, and other press materials, and pitch to the media, gaining hands-on experience in securing media coverage for our client, that will in turn help contribute to revenue and traffic goals.

Your Quests Include:

  • With our AWIN Network team, you will identify and grow new affiliates onto the our clientprogramme whilst maintaining careful management of our existing content and social affiliate partners, both by responding to inbound requests and actively providing them all collateral they need to grow on the clients affiliate programme.
  • Regular analysis and monitoring ROIs of exposures secured with new and existing partnerships, using both our internal reporting and our external network reporting and presenting back results to stakeholders.
  • Support curation of Content calendar for daily releases to our Editorial content partners, and copywriting of press releases to existing and newly recruited partners.
  • Media monitoring of all secured coverage with our Editorial content partners, ensuring that copy is clear, accurate and in line with our market.
  • Other administrative affiliate tasks such as promo code creation, validation approvals, transaction queries, and other tasks.

Technical Skills required:

  • Previous experience with developing marketing partnerships. Ideally the candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in affiliate marketing, specifically in the UK affiliate space. [Essential]
  • Excellent written skills, a keen eye for detail with perfect grammar. Ideally has experience writing content (paid or unpaid) for a digital audience. Previous press release writing experience a bonus. [Essential]
  • Is a self-starter with strong communication, project management, and attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Ability to interpret data and drive commercial decisions. Proficient in data visualization; experience with Amazon QuickSight, and Adobe suite is a plus.
  • Previous experience with the AWIN platform is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Soft Skills required:

  • Enjoys building and nurturing collaborative relationships both with internal and external stakeholders, and is a confident individual when presenting ideas to others.
  • Has genuine passion for retail trends demonstrated through engagement with newspapers, blogs, facebook deal groups etc., to keep abreast of the whats trending in the UK Market.
  • Ability to multitask and respond to administrative requests whilst taking care of ongoing tasks/ projects.
  • Ability to work with people with a variety of styles and working cultures.
  • Ability to prioritise and maintain composure when challenged by others within the business.
