NOW HIRING : Accounts Payable Administrator

6 Months contract

To process all creditors transactions accurately and timeously while supporting the Payables Supervisor and Payables Division.

This role ensures valid, compliant, and on-time payments to suppliers according to company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

You'll be working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong demand for :

  • Accurate reconciliations
  • Quick resolution of queries
  • World‑class service delivery for internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Creditors Processing & Payments
  • Timeous processing of invoices, credit notes, and payments
  • Prepare accurate supplier recons supported by statements & AP ledger
  • Investigate & resolve reconciling items (including long‑outstanding items)
  • Prepare complete and accurate payment packs (capex & maintenance opex – local & foreign)
Month‑End & Reporting
  • Prepare month-end and quarterly accrual journals
  • Support weekly cash‑flow forecasting and funding submissions to Treasury
  • Meet internal deadlines to ensure AP ledger closure by 1st working day
Service, Compliance & Support
  • Improve customer service through quick query resolution
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls (POs, invoices, recons, payment packs)
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Financial Management or Accounting (advantageous)
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years as an Accounts Payable Administrator
  • Experience in a large, high‑pressure environment
  • Strong reconciliation and transaction‑processing skills
  • Oracle experience advantageous
  • Professional communication with suppliers & stakeholders
