Minimum Requirements

BCom Degree in Accounting.

Strong proficiency with Sage Accounting and Sage HR; knowledge of Xero or QuickBooks is advantageous.

High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

• Excellent Excel and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full bookkeeping function up to trial balance and balance sheet.
• Process bank transactions and perform weekly / monthly reconciliations.
• Oversee debtors and creditors, including invoicing, reconciliations, and payments.
• Manage payroll and statutory submissions (PAYE, UIF, SDL, EMP201, EMP501).
• Prepare and submit VAT returns, provisional and annual corporate tax returns via SARS eFiling.
• Support intercompany billing and reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and insurance schedule.
• Assist with management accounts, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
