Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions into the system.
  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Maintains balances and subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies if any.
  • Maintains general ledger; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow and other financial statements.
  • Create and present detailed reports for upper management.
  • Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts such banks, receivables, payables.
  • Monthly closing procedures by maintaining accrual and deferred accounts, ending inventory, COGS and production average cost.
  • Perform account reconciliations on a regular basis to determine which accounts need to be flagged for further payment and to stay up-to-date with vendor needs.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information highly confidential.
  • Performs administrative tasks and activities as requested.
  • Other tasks may be assigned.
