Account Manager Position

Our client, a Full Service Digital Agency based in JHB, is looking to employ an Account Manager that has worked with FMCG clients previously.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships with FMCG brands, understanding their unique needs and how our digital services can support their business goals.
  • Act as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters, ensuring timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with our creative and strategy teams to craft digital marketing campaigns that resonate with FMCG audiences, driving engagement and achieving client KPIs.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to provide clients with actionable insights and recommendations, fostering a data‑driven approach to digital marketing.
  • Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and digital marketing best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance account management processes and strategies.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • At least 2 years of proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, or relevant role, preferably within a digital agency environment.
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing, content marketing, SEO, e‑mail marketing, and influencer management.
  • Understanding of the FMCG industry and its digital marketing needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
