Job summary

A dynamic consultancy firm in East London is seeking an experienced Account Manager to work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing. You will manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and service requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree, experience in account management, and strong communication skills. This is a remote role based in South Africa that involves both client interaction and project management tasks.

Job description
Role Outline

London or East Grinstead based. Working closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing and the Managing Director, you will be working on a wide range of projects and partnerships focusing on customer success. Responsible for managing and nurturing the existing client base. You will be building long-term relationships with our clients with the goal of keeping existing clients or accounts secure with James McKenzie and servicing their day to day requirements. You may be able to support with finding new business, be assigned prospects, given accounts, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, logistics and marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly responsible for managing a portfolio of business accounts.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Makes sure clients receive requested marketing materials, products and services
  • Builds new business relationships using existing industry contacts.
  • Deals directly with key Client stakeholders (i.e. HR Managers)
  • Feeds back all suggestions for improvement and market research.
