We’ve recently launched the Karri Card: South Africa’s safest youth bank card. Unlike most youth cards (which are just adult cards with your kid’s name on them), the Karri Card is designed to keep children safe while building healthy money habits.

As part of our sales and account management team we will look to you to present, promote and implement Karri in schools in and around the Cape Town area, while also developing and deepening positive business and customer relationships with current client schools.

What does the role entail?
  • Onboard & train newly signed schools. This includes scheduling product training sessions with school-end users, collaborating with several school stakeholders to ensure our partners understand how to explain and use Karri with their teachers, coaches, and parents.
  • Maintain current client school relationships. More than just offering customer support, you will be expected to engage with current clients quarterly and weekly and present new, innovative ways for our client schools to adopt Karri in their day-to-day functions.
  • Work within Hubspot to manage, track and update changes in your sales and account management pipeline.
  • Build your sales pipeline: Identify, engage with, and sign (close) new prospective client schools within your sales region. This can include cold calling, attending relevant conferences, hosting product demonstrations at SGB meetings, pitching to multiple key decision makers over a series of weeks.
