Job summary
A technology company in Singapore is seeking an R&D Software Engineer (SRE) to enhance system reliability, implement automation frameworks, and ensure software performance. Candidates should possess a BS/MS in relevant fields, proficiency in C#/C++ or Python, and experience with CI/CD tools. The role offers a remuneration range of SGD 6,000 - 10,000.

- Implement and maintain advanced monitoring tools, proactively respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and execute corrective actions to enhance system reliability.
- Create and optimize automation frameworks for testing and infrastructure, while also contributing to codebase improvements and enhancements.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, leveraging automated and manual testing to ensure software excellence and performance.
- Work closely with Software, Firmware and Hardware teams to ensure seamless deployments, high-quality software, and efficient issue resolution.
- BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering and/or Physics/Electrical Engineering with C#/C++ or python programming and debugging proficiency or equivalent 4-7 years job experience.
- Proven experience developing production software using C#, C++ or Python.
- Strong understanding of software performance fundamentals.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation tasks.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system issues related to hardware instrumentation and software interaction.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and to develop teamwork among individuals and over geographically disperse teams.
- High tolerance for ambiguity, results-oriented, meets timelines, handles pressure while working positively in a collaborative manner.
- Experience working with but not limited to AWG, Digitizer, and Downconverter modules.
- PXI hardware experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn proactively.
