We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement & Operations Manager to join our dynamic manufacturing/production team for our client. In this fulltime position, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing our operations to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies across our manufacturing operations
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and increased efficiency
- Develop and execute action plans to address identified improvement opportunities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring targets are met
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to identify and resolve operational issues
- Provide coaching and mentoring to production staff to build a culture of continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement or operations management role within a manufacturing/production/plant environment
- Proven track record of successfully implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Proficient in data analysis and the use of tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams
- Familiarity with CNC machine operations and experience in a manufacturing setting involving CNC machinery
