About the role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our client's growing team, a leading provider of process instrumentation and industrial solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in developing new business opportunities and driving sales growth.

What you'll be doing
  • Proactively identify and qualify new sales leads within the industry market
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and requirements, proposing tailored solutions
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers throughout the sales process
  • Collaborate with the broader sales and technical teams to develop winning strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting on all sales activities and pipeline
What we're looking for
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sales engineering role, ideally within the process instrumentation or industrial automation sectors
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of industrial products, process instrumentation, valves, and solutions
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (e.g. engineering degree, process instrumentation training)
