Job summary
A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is hiring for a role focused on the maintenance of critical equipment used in food production. Candidates should have a recognized engineering certificate, strong electrical skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, training staff on equipment handling, and ensuring adherence to safety standards. The position requires commitment to overtime and offers a structured working schedule from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on food production equipment.
- Collaborate with technicians for smooth equipment operation.
- Ensure compliance with WSH and EMS standards.

Responsible for basic maintenance of equipment & Automation Routing Servicing within the premises, with a focus on candidates who possess good electrical knowledge.
Follows instructions and schedules closely for conducting regular preventive maintenance work such as changing of lubrication oil, tuning machine speeds and other calibration on the food production equipment.
- Responsible for the basis preventive routine maintenance schedule of essential Facilities & Equipment such as:
- Mixers
- Blender Machines
- Spray Dryers
- Homogenizer
- Extruder
- Milling
- Liquid Nitrogen & Nitrogen System
- Reactor Vessel
- Sifter
- Liquid Dispensing system.
- Packing M/C
- Strapping M/C
- Weighting Scales
- Pilot Plant Machineries
- Demonstrate strong electrical skills, including proficiency in using electrical test equipment such as multi-meters, meggers, and other specialized tools.
- In this role, individuals will be required to work closely with other specialists or Technician to ensure the smooth running of the equipment.
- Schedule maintenance activities in consultation with affected work areas to minimize disruption.
- Ensure all documentations are updated and filed.
- Ensure contractors comply with the organization’s WSH and EMS standards and practices.
- Responsible for engineering support to production. Involved in training of production staff of correct handling equipment & simple maintenance procedures.
- Must be able to commit overtime work on weekdays/weekend/Holiday.
- Recognized qualification in Professional Certificate / NITEC in Engineering or related discipline.

- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Self-motivated and work independent.
- Understand & interpret basic technical drawing.
- Experience in relevant industry.
- Have basic safety and food hygiene knowledge.

- Working hours is from 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
- Frequent shuttle bus from/to Lakeside MRT & Factory
