Job summary

A leading luxury resort in Singapore seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure flawless operations and maintenance of all facilities. The role requires a minimum of NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities include working on AC systems, plumbing, and addressing maintenance defects promptly. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in Maintenance and Engineering fields.
  • Able to do 3 rotating shifts, including Sundays & Public Holidays.
  • Knowledge of Masonry, Carpentry, Building & Décor is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work independently with a team to run daily operations.
  • Ensure no defects and equipment malfunction across facilities.
  • Carry out servicing for Air conditioners and follow up on maintenance defects.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • To work independently with a team of technicians to run daily operations.
  • To ensure no defects and equipment malfunction in Suites, Rooms, Function Rooms, Kitchen, Restaurant & Public Area to ensure guests comfort.
  • Priorities work tasks raised by various Departments and ensuring all Maintenance Work Order are completed promptly.
  • Carry out preventive/corrective works as per scheduled.
  • Carry out servicing for Air conditioners in the Guest Room, Function rooms Restaurant, Kitchen & Public Area.
  • To provide support and solutions for M&E matters.
  • Follow up repairs all maintenance defects assigned by Duty Engineer.
  • Update and refer major breakdowns in equipment or facilities to the Duty Engineer.
  • Attend to any breakdown for Guest rooms, Staff areas and Public areas.
  • Attend to all out of order room defects reported by other Departments team member.
  • Report all outstanding task by end of shift and hand over to next shift.
  • Ad hoc projects assigned by the Assistant/Chief Engineer.
Requirements
  • Minimum a NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years in Maintenance and Engineering fields.
  • Knowledge in ACMV System, Hot/Cold Water System, Fire Fighting System, Plumbing System, Chiller System, BMS System.
  • Knowledge in Electrical & Mechanical installation.
  • Knowledge in Masonry, Carpentry, Building & Deco’s will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Analog, Digital & IP Phone system, IT & Wi-Fi system will be an added advantage.
  • Good general knowledge and strong problem solving skills.
  • Able to do 3 rotating Shift, Sun & PH.
