Job summary

A leading property management company in Singapore is seeking a Facility Maintenance Officer to assist with the efficient management of day-to-day mall operations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance within a shopping mall. Key responsibilities include inspecting building services and systems, addressing tenant feedback, and performing repairs. Candidates should possess an NITEC certification in relevant fields and be prepared to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of relevant experience in Facility Maintenance, preferably in a shopping mall.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in painting, masonry, carpentry, and ironmongery works is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily routine inspections on the building and M&E systems.
  • Report on breakdowns, defects, and maintenance activities.
  • Attend to tenants' feedback and service requests promptly.
  • Perform day-to-day repairs and rectifications.

Job Summary

Assist Centre Management Office for the efficient management of day‑to‑day mall operational activities and ensure that the M&E services of the building are in optimal operational level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily routine inspection on the building and M&E systems such as electrical, lighting, chiller control, air‑conditioning and mechanical ventilation, pumps, fire protection, BMS and plumbing/sanitary, etc. to identify malfunction
  • Report on breakdowns, irregularities, defects, maintenance activities and record stock inventories
  • Attend to Tenants’ feedback, complaints and service requests and ensure service assistance is rendered to the Tenants timely
  • Perform troubleshooting and attend to equipment breakdown calls
  • Perform assigned day‑to‑day repairs and rectification works promptly
  • Escort, supervise and monitor contractors in routine servicing and emergency repair works
  • Attend all operational issues and emergency situations promptly and rectify with minimal disruption or inconvenience
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
Key Requirements
  • Preferably 3 years’ experience of relevant experience in Facility Maintenance in a shopping mall environment.
  • Required to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and Public Holidays. Non‑standard hours: 7am‑3pm / 3pm‑11pm / 11pm‑7am
  • Possess experience in painting, masonry, carpentry, and ironmongery works would be advantageous.
  • NITEC certificate in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Air‑Conditioning or related disciplines.
  • Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Air‑Conditioning trained
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
