The Opportunity:
We are conducting a confidential retained search for a CEO who will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company's growth strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability, and the leadership acumen to inspire and scale a high-performing organisation. An understanding of the maritime industry would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Vision & Execution: Develop and implement a clear and ambitious growth strategy, identifying new market opportunities and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Revenue Generation & Market Expansion: Lead efforts to expand market share, penetrate new customer segments, and drive significant revenue growth.
  • Operational Excellence & Scalability: Optimize operational efficiency and build scalable processes to support rapid growth.
  • Financial Management & Investment: Oversee financial performance, manage resources effectively, and potentially lead future investment rounds.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Cultivate a high-performance culture, attract and retain top talent, and build a leadership team capable of supporting growth.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, stakeholders and the Board.
  • Industry Leadership & Representation: Serve as a key representative of the company within the maritime industry.

The Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, CEO, MD, GM, Head of Strategy, Head of Transformation ideally within the maritime, shipping, or related sectors.
  • Experienced in agile project delivery, lean start-up or other experimental approaches to make innovation processes effective and productive.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling digital ventures or industrial platforms.
  • A deep understanding of the dynamics, challenges, and opportunities within the maritime industry.
  • A demonstrable track record of successfully scaling businesses and driving significant revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to lead and balance corporate governance and startup agility
  • Comfortable in both board-facing, investor-facing and client-facing environments.
  • A relevant network within the maritime industry is advantageous.
