Job summary
A global Japanese materials company based in Singapore is looking for a technical support specialist to assist customers and internal teams with polymer applications and materials. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of injection molding and polymers. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance, conducting tests, and participating in market research and customer trials. Competitive salary and allowances are offered, with the opportunity for regular travel across ASEAN and India.
Qualifications
- Must have knowledge of injection molding and polymers.
- Ability to provide technical support to customers and teams.
- Experience in performing mechanical and physical tests.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Help customers choose the right materials and analyze competitors.
- Perform tests and analysis to support product development.
- Investigate and troubleshoot material/application problems.
- Work with sales teams to support business development.
- Conduct market research on trends and technologies.
- Support application development with data insights.
- Participate in customer molding trials and trade shows.
- Regular travel across ASEAN/India.

🕘 8:30am - 5:15pm (5 days)
Salary: Up to $5,500 (Basic) + $370 (Allowance) + AWS + VB
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams on plastics materials and applications.
- Help customers choose the right materials and compare competitor materials.
- Perform tests and analysis (mechanical/physical) to support product development.
- Investigate and troubleshoot material/application problems.
- Work with sales teams to support business development plans.
- Conduct market research on industry trends and new technologies.
- Support application development by providing data and insights to customers/R&D.
- Participate in customer molding trials and trade shows.
- Able to travel regularly across ASEAN / India.
- Must have injection molding & polymer knowledge.
