About the job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating and customize NMS script for various monitoring of application services and IT equipment in customer premises. They will be responsible for configuring and commissioning IT infrastructure monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize NMS script for IT infrastructure monitoring
• Architecting software and service solutions to meet our client’s needs
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs in existing customer NMS deployment
• Interacting with clients in person and via phone calls, emails, etc.

Requirements

• Understanding on Virtualization (Virtualbox, VMWare & Hypervisor)
• Knowledge of Linux (Red Hat, CentOS and KVM)
• Network and Server monitoring skillset
• Knowledge of packet-based networks UNIX and TCP/IP
• Script programming languages ( bash, perl, python…)
• UNIX admin and server/network administration experience
• Strong knowledge on system operation and extensive skills in Linux commands
• Strong knowledge in installing, configuring, maintaining and performance tuning of Apache, MySQLand Postgres SQL
• Understanding of web application and related specification (security, HTTP protocol)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• Experience working with LAMP ( Linux , Apache, MySQL ,PHP ) stack
• 2-3 Years of Nagios NMS experience
