Job summary
A multinational tech company based in Singapore is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer for a 12-month contract. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining iOS applications with an emphasis on strong technical practices. Candidates should have over 4 years of software development experience and a background in iOS development, along with excellent communication and analytical skills. Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration and performance improvement of applications.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of software development experience including 2+ years of iOS development.
- Solid grounding in algorithms and data structures.
- Experience managing large scale applications.
- Familiarity with crash analytics and remote debugging.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
- Accountability and ownership of work.
- Exploration of genAI technologies.
Responsibilities

Skills
We are hiring for a Senior iOS Engineer! This role is for a 12 months contract with our multinational client in the tech industry.
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor, responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. You’ll apply best practices in architecture, code design, and infrastructure to build secure, reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems. You’ll also monitor and enhance these systems post-deployment.
- Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using SwiftUI and Objective-C.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to develop and deliver features.
- Take part in code and design reviews to uphold high engineering standards.
- Propose and implement solutions that improve app performance, scalability, and user experience.Take ownership of entire project lifecycles, ensuring delivery meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop reusable iOS components focused on performance and operational excellence.
- Lead cross-team collaboration to address complex business, legal, and product challenges.
- Participate in interviews and help grow our world-class engineering team.
- With 4+ years of professional software development experience including at least 2 years of iOS development experience
- Solid computer science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
- Experience owning an end-to-end feature
- Experience running large scale applications and global understanding of systems internals and tools like crash analytics, remote debugging and continuous integration.
- Possess excellent communication, sharp analytical abilities with proven design skills, able to think critically of the current system in terms of growth and stability
- Deep understanding about the CI/CD implementation
- Highly accountable and takes ownership of one’s own work.
- Have explored genAI technologies for their use‑cases and work efficiency
