Qualifications

• Experience with wireless or sensor device evaluations is preferred.

Job description

• Responsible for pre-sale technical support for Murata products (mainly connectivity modules) to expand the ASEAN, India, and Oceania business and support local sales/product engineers for design wins.
• Responsible for pre-sales technical support to achieve design wins for immediate opportunities and expand regional business.
• Enhance technical troubleshooting installation schemes by working with product engineers.
• Providing in-field product training and engineering services to core customers.
• Conceptualize and provide feasible solutions (PoC included) to customers and internal stakeholders, particularly in the IoT/wireless domain.
• Facilitating integration of Murata products (sensors and wireless communication) into customer products.
• Lead technical innovation projects contributing to enhancing product promotion activities.
• Lead technical topics with 3rd party companies to create joint solutions & corporation schemes for business creation.
• Create, test, and verify new application use cases with Murata products for regional market segments.
• Design and create application-based technical marketing ideas and materials for business creation.
• Provide Technical support to new business creation projects.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering field.
• Embedded programming skills of C on Linux or on embedded OS. (mainly IoT application)
• Good system and software debugging skills on embedded platforms (exp with various IDEs)
• Embedded system board knowledge and understanding of Digital circuits, Analog circuits, and A/D conversion.
• Algorithm development experience of analogue sensors or sensors with digital output.
• Wireless or Sensor Devices evaluation experience with testing equipment.
• Ability to make quick prototypes/POC using available Evaluation/Development kits or using Arduino/Raspberry Pi.
• Understanding of network communication technologies (i.e TCP/IP, Wireless communication, encryption and etc)
• Knowledge on Schematic and PCB development tools; understand key device parameters and propose suitable components for a given application.
• Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude in challenging work environment.
• Available for Travel within the ASEAN, India and Oceania region.
