Safety Officer
Job summary
A leading safety solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to implement safety policies. The role involves conducting audits, delivering training, and managing safety initiatives. Candidates must hold a Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. This position is based in Tuas South.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of related working experience.
- Must be registered with MOM as a WSH officer.
- Willingness to work in Tuas South.
Responsibilities
- Implement safety policies and guidelines.
- Support WSH initiatives to reduce incidents.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections.
- Deliver safety training and guidance to employees.
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
Skills
Education
- Implement safety policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements in daily operations.
- Support Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) initiatives to reduce workplace incidents and man-day losses.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of work areas, laboratories, offices, and facilities.
- Assist in preparing reports, reviewing Emergency Response Plans, and recommending improvements.
- Deliver safety training and guidance to employees to promote awareness and safe practices.
- Investigate incidents, identify corrective and preventive actions, and assist in report preparation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, fire, safety, and health regulations.
- Manage permits required prior to work commencement.
- Perform other safety-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Minimum Specialist Diploma in Safety, Health and Environment as stipulated in the MOM’s accepted WSH-related qualifications
- Must be registered with MOM as a WSH officer.
- Min 3 years of related working experience.
- Willing to work in Tuas South.
