Job summary

A construction and ESH firm in Singapore is looking for experienced Project Engineers or Project Managers to transition into ESH leadership roles. (For Project Engineers / Project Managers Seeking to Specialize in ESH)

Career switch: Safety & Health (ESH) team and is seeking experienced Project Engineers or Project Managers from the construction industry who are ready to transition into a dedicated Corporate ESH leadership role.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for construction professionals who already understand site operations and now want to specialize in ESH at a managerial level.
  • Full ESH training and sponsorship for relevant WSH/Environmental certifications will be provided for suitable candidates.
Transition Into ESH Leadership
  • Work closely with the ESH Manager to learn and eventually lead ESH operations across construction sites.
  • Gain hands‑on experience in environmental controls, safety compliance, and health standards.
Site ESH Management
  • Assist in enforcing and improving the company’s ESH standards, Safe Work Procedures, and environmental controls.
  • Conduct routine ESH inspections and site walk‑throughs to identify hazards and environmental risks.
  • Support safe planning for high‑risk works and environmental mitigation measures.
Environmental Responsibilities
  • Support noise, air quality, water discharge, and waste management compliance.
  • Assist in preparing environmental monitoring reports required by NEA/PUB.
Safety & Health Responsibilities
  • Participate in risk assessments, permit‑to‑work systems, and preparation of method statements.
  • Coordinate toolbox meetings, ESH briefings, and site inductions.
  • Assist incident reporting and follow‑up actions with senior ESH staff.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain ESH documentation, registers, and permit records.
  • Assist in preparing reports for audits, clients, and regulatory agencies (NEA, MOM, PUB, LTA).
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer, or Project Manager in construction.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a long‑term ESH/WSH career.
  • Prior safety experience is not required — full training and sponsorship will be provided.
