Quantitative Research Intern: Build Predictive Signals
Job summary
A technology research firm in Singapore is looking for a Quantitative Research Intern. This internship role involves developing predictive signals using vast datasets to identify market opportunities. Candidates should pursue an advanced degree in a quantitative field and possess skills in statistics, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python. The ideal candidate can work autonomously while collaborating with diverse teams. This internship has the potential for conversion to a permanent role.
Qualifications
- Pursuing an advanced degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, physics, or engineering.
- High technical knowledge in statistics, machine learning, NLP, or AI techniques.
- Coding skills in at least one leading programming language (Python, C++, or C#).
- Experience in exploring large datasets across multiple time frames is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality predictive signals using diverse datasets.
