About the role

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at Golden Phoenix Solar Energy Pte. Ltd. in Paya Lebar East. This is a contract role that will play a crucial part in the overall management and strategic direction of our solar energy company. The Deputy General Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee all day-to-day operations and ensure the business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in leading the overall management and strategic direction of the company
• Oversee and coordinate the activities of various departments, including finance, operations, sales, and marketing
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and productivity
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with the management team to set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings
• Mentor and develop the skills of the management team and other key personnel

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy industry
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proven track record in driving operational efficiency and improving financial performance
• Thorough understanding of the solar energy industry, including regulations, trends, and best practices
