Job Description: IFS Team Lead – ERPImplementation & Security (SBM Offshore / Similar Environment)
We areseeking an experienced IFS Team Lead to oversee end-to-end delivery of IFS ERP initiatives, including full-cycle implementations, system revamps, andongoing environment governance. The ideal candidate will manage a high-performing technical team, partner with cross-functional stakeholdersglobally, and lead all aspects of change management, testing, releasegovernance, and IFS security.
This rolerequires deep expertise in IFS ERP, strong leadership capabilities, and provenexperience driving successful go-lives in complex enterprise environments.
KeyResponsibilities
TeamLeadership & Delivery Management
- Lead and mentor a team of sixfunctional/technical consultants across two major workstreams:
IFS ERP Implementation and IFS System Revamp Programs.
- Manage full resource planningincluding interviewing, onboarding, performance assessment, andoffboarding.
- Provide accurate resource andeffort estimates for releases and go-lives to support planning,forecasting, and stakeholder alignment.
Go-Live & Release Management
- Produce detailed runbooks foreach go-live and coordinate all associated activities.
- Track and report program statusin steering forums, leadership meetings, and operational reviews.
- Manage escalations, ensuringrapid resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Oversee hypercare support forall releases, guiding the team in issue resolution, solution validation,and environment stabilization.
Change & Release Governance
- Represent the team in CAB(Change Advisory Board), reviewing and presenting change requests.
- Ensure rigorous pre-CABassessment of all changes to maintain system stability, compliance, andquality.
- Review changes submitted bycross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with release standards andsecurity policies.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build strong partnerships withglobal project managers, functional leads, and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate end-to-end SIT(System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)cycles, ensuring readiness, communication, and alignment acrossparticipating teams.
- Work closely with ChangeManagement to prepare user lists, security setups, and BDR (Business DataRoles) configurations for each release.
IFS ERPSecurity & Access Governance
- Serve as Competency Lead forIFS Security, contributing to capability building, training, andenterprise-wide support for IFS security practices.
- Own end-to-end ERP security andaccess governance across all non-Production IFS environments.
- Review and approve accessrequests, ensuring alignment with Segregation of Duties (SoD)policies, Oracle constraints, and industry best practices.
- Advise on Production governanceand security model improvements.
ContinuousImprovement & Documentation
- Capture lessons learned aftereach deployment and drive continuous improvement initiatives across teamsand processes.
- Enhance documentationstandards, operational readiness, and repeatability of go-live activities.
RequiredSkills & Experience
- 7–12 years of experience in IFSERP environments, with at least 3+ years in a Team Lead or DeliveryLead role.
- Strong understanding of IFSsecurity models, permission sets, base profiles, and SoD frameworks.
- Proven experience managingenterprise-scale ERP implementations and environment governance.
- Expertise in releasemanagement, CAB processes, change governance, and hypercare management.
- Strong stakeholder managementskills with experience working in global, cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manageSIT/UAT cycles and align multiple teams toward delivery.
- Excellent communication,leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Experience preparing runbooks,resource plans, risk logs, and status dashboards.
PreferredQualifications
- Prior experience in anoffshore/global delivery model.
- Certified or trained inleadership frameworks such as Connected Manager (Harvard BusinessPublishing) or similar.
- Experience designing enterprisesecurity architecture for IFS or similar ERP systems.
- Exposure to ITIL practices orholding ITIL Foundation certification.
