Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished SAP Managing Consultant with advanced expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules, as well as proven experience in the airline industry domain.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SAP iMRO (intelligent Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) solutions and demonstrate robust program management skills.

This role demands a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership, and hands‑on experience in SAP implementation, configuration, integration, and support, particularly within aviation or airline environments. Candidates must excel at leading multidisciplinary programs to drive strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple concurrent SAP projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies, timely delivery, and budget adherence.
  • Solution Design & Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP SD, MM, PPM, and iMRO modules tailored to the specific requirements of the airline industry.
  • Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with airline business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze maintenance and operational processes, and identify opportunities for process optimization and digital transformation.
  • Project Management: Manage end-to-end SAP projects within the aviation sector, including planning, execution, monitoring, and providing robust post‑go‑live support.
  • Integration: Coordinate cross‑functional integration of airline maintenance operations with SAP SD, MM, PPM, iMRO, and other modules (such as FI/CO, PP, QM), ensuring seamless data flow and efficient process alignment.
  • System Configuration: Drive advanced configuration for SAP SD (pricing, order management, billing), SAP MM (procurement, inventory, vendor management), SAP PPM (project planning, resource management), and iMRO (maintenance planning, work order management, fleet management).
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans/scripts specific to airline and iMRO scenarios, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solutions meet industry and regulatory quality standards.
  • Training & Documentation: Produce detailed documentation, user manuals, and deliver end‑user training with an emphasis on airline maintenance and iMRO processes.
  • Support & Maintenance: Provide expert‑level support for SAP SD, MM, PPM, and iMRO modules, promptly resolve incidents, and manage change requests in airline maintenance environments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with SAP innovations, iMRO best practices, and evolving airline industry trends; proactively recommend and implement system enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster strong partnerships with airline business units, IT teams, and external vendors to effectively support operational and strategic goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 20+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP SD, MM, PPM, with at least 5 years focused on the airline industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP iMRO solution design, implementation, and support within aviation or airline maintenance environments.
  • Extensive program management experience, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing large‑scale, multi‑project SAP initiatives within corporate environments.
  • Proficient in mapping airline maintenance and business processes to SAP solutions, including gap analysis and digital transformation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end‑to‑end processes in sales, distribution, procurement, inventory management, project portfolio management, and aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Track record of successful SAP implementations, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations in aviation or MRO contexts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, specifically within the airline domain.
  • Strong mentoring capability for junior consultants and cross‑functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and advanced problem‑solving abilities.
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP Fiori, S/4HANA, cloud solutions, and industry‑specific enhancements is highly desirable.
  • Relevant SAP certifications (SD, MM, PPM, iMRO) preferred.
