Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities
Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall project design.
Design Calculations: Perform accurate calculations for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to meet project specifications and performance requirements.
Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with overseas suppliers to source materials, ensure compliance with quality standards, and manage delivery timelines efficiently.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to align MEP designs with project goals and adhere to overseas regulations.
Code Compliance: Apply international building codes, standards, and best practices relevant to the project location, ensuring full compliance throughout the design and execution phases.
Technical Meetings: Attend site meetings with consultants to review progress and resolve design or implementation issues.
Drawing Review & Coordination: Study M&E drawings and coordinate works with consultants and sub-contractors to address and resolve any technical or site-related issues.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all M&E works are executed in accordance with approved specifications and drawings.
Issue Escalation: Promptly inform the Project Director/Project Manager of any technical or site problems related to M&E works.
Site Supervision: Monitor and supervise the progress of M&E works on-site to ensure quality and timely completion.
Sub-Contractor Coordination: Oversee and coordinate sub-contractors’ M&E work to ensure alignment with the project schedule and quality expectations.
Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
