Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to prepare quotations, cost estimates, and manage tenders. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant field and preferably 1 year of relevant experience. Responsibilities include sourcing materials, submitting approvals to authorities, and preparing monthly progress claims. Skills in MS Office, basic AutoCAD, and knowledge of BIM are advantageous. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to various projects.

Qualifications

  • Preferably with 1 year relevant working experience.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize tasks.
  • Knowledge in Building Information Modelling (BIM) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations, cost estimates and bills of quantities.
  • Prepare and submit tender.
  • Source & procure required material and negotiate with suppliers & sub-contractors.
  • Submission of work approval to relevant local authorities.
  • Manage tender administration.
  • Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
  • Preparation of monthly progress claims to customer.
  • Prepare/verification/upkeep of project variation work and site instructions.
  • Attend site meeting and record minutes of meeting.
