Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects related to tyre development and new product introduction. This includes overseeing certification processes, mould ordering, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Project Management:Lead and manage technical projects for tyre development from initiation to completion.
  Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  
• Technical Oversight:Oversee the design, development, and testing phases of tyre development projects.
  Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure project objectives are met.
  Ensure all technical specifications and requirements are clearly defined and adhered to.
  
• Certification and Compliance:Manage the certification process for new tyre products, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  Liaise with certification bodies and regulatory agencies as needed.
  
• Supply Chain Management:Handle the ordering and procurement of moulds and other critical components for tyre production.
  Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
  
• Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  Provide regular updates and reports on project status, risks, and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
  Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all departments involved in the project.
  
• Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automotive / Tyre related preferred), Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  
• Experience:Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management in the tyre or automotive industry.
  Proven track record of successfully managing technical projects from concept to completion.
  
• Technical Skills: Understanding of tyre development processes and industry standards is required.
  Experience with supply chain management and procurement processes.
  
• Soft Skills:Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
