About the Role

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead and manage all Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) activities for a major Land Transport Authority (LTA) solar infrastructure project. You will play a key role in coordinating design deliverables, ensuring model accuracy, and driving digital integration throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and highly proficient in BIM software platforms, with proven experience handling BIM for large-scale or infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. BIM & IDD Management
  • Lead, manage, and coordinate all BIM activities for the project in accordance with LTA’s IDD and BIM requirements.

  • Develop the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), workflows, modelling standards, and protocols.

  • Ensure all BIM models comply with project specifications, LTA’s requirements, and industry standards.

2. Design Coordination
  • Coordinate and integrate BIM models from consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams.

  • Conduct model checking and clash detection using industry-standard software (e.g., Navisworks Manage, Solibri Office, VRCollab, Bentley Navigator).

  • Facilitate design coordination meetings to resolve clashes, interface issues, and design discrepancies.

  • Support the Senior Project Manager and design team with accurate BIM-based information for decision-making.

3. Model Production & Quality Assurance
  • Oversee model production, updates, and version control throughout design and construction phases.

  • Ensure that modelling methodologies, levels of detail (LOD), and data structures follow project expectations.

  • Perform quality checks and audits to ensure model completeness, accuracy, and coordination.

4. Documentation & Digital Integration
  • Extract drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models for submission, regulatory approval, and construction needs.

  • Support the adoption of digital tools and IDD technologies across the project team.

  • Maintain structured digital records, federated models, and data outputs for handover.

5. Stakeholder Coordination
  • Liaise closely with LTA, consultants, designers, main contractors, and internal teams on all BIM-related matters.

  • Provide BIM-related updates, progress reports, and issue logs to the Senior Project Manager.

  • Train and support project team members on BIM standards and tools as required.

Requirements
Essential Qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in design engineering, construction engineering, or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) project management.

Career Experience
  • Preferably 3 years of BIM experience in a project-level BIM Manager role for large-scale or infrastructure projects.

  • Must have completed at least one full project cycle in the design phase or construction phase.

Certifications
  • Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling (BIM) from BCA Academy.

  • Certified in relevant BIM authoring software by authorised training providers.

  • Candidates certified as Digital Delivery Lead (DDM Tier 2) will be considered.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in BIM coordination tools such as:

    • Navisworks Manage

    • Solibri Office

    • VRCollab

    • Navigator

    • Or other equivalent BIM software

  • Strong understanding of BIM modelling standards, LOD definitions, digital workflows, and model coordination requirements.
