Lead Marine Structure Design Engineer – Project Lead
Job summary
A well-established marine consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Principal Structure Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of design experience in the marine and offshore industry. The position involves independently developing structural designs, coordinating with teams, and ensuring compliance with specifications. - At least 10 years of structure newbuild engineering design experience in the marine & offshore industry.
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, AVEVA, and FEMAP.
Responsibilities
- Develop structural design to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements.
- Deliver project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule.
- Review external designer’s pre-contract technical specifications.
- Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for design requirement compliance.
- Perform structural calculations and prepare optimized arrangement & detail structure concept.
