Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer – Metal Stamping

Position Title: Production Technician / Spring Technician

Working Location: West (Transport provided at Boon Lay/Pioneer)

Working Hours: 4 days rotational shift (Mon – Thurs, 7.00am – 7.00pm or 7.00pm – 7.00am)

Salary Package: Basic up to $3200 + OT + Variable Bonus (Additional $5/day for transport allowance, and $13/day for shift allowance if work on pm shift)

Duration: Permanent

• Set up and run the machine as per the weekly plan and required quantities.
• Operate the Spring/Forming machine.
• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure set-ups and ongoing work meet quality standards.
• Inspect the machine daily and keep records as instructed.
• Gather materials needed for daily production from orders.
• Change and record material coils accurately.
• Finish and close out production orders, returning unused materials.
• Maintain daily logs of production such as timesheets, machine use, and defects.
• Adhere to customer MSA requirements regarding specifications like lubrication, packaging, and batch sizes.
• Check that all materials needed are available before starting the machine.
• Follow safety rules, including wearing gloves when changing coils.
• Any other duties assigned.
