Junior Legal Associate
Job summary
A global workforce leader in Singapore is seeking a Junior Legal Associate for a 2-month contract. The role involves reviewing contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting legal documentation. Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed a Law degree, possess strong communication skills, and have a good understanding of Singapore's legal framework. This position presents an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic global business environment.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Law or a related field.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal department.
- Good knowledge of Singapore's laws and regulations.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Review and simplify legal documents for stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage legal contracts and agreements.
- Document all legal documents properly.
- Fulfill legal obligations on time.
- Track amendments in regulations.

- Review company contracts and translate complicated legal jargon into language which stakeholders can understand.
- Monitor commercial contracts, and agreements. Ensure that all the company agreements are valid and renew legal contracts before they lapse.
- Ensure proper documentation of all legal documents.
- Ensure that all legal formalities such as maintenance of assets, lease agreements and other such obligations are fulfilled on time.
- Keep track of the latest amendments in regulations.
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Prior experience working in a law firm or the in‑house legal department of a multinational company performing similar duties.
- Possess good knowledge of Singapore’s laws, rules and regulations.
