Job summary
A healthcare recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Locum Registered Nurse for a temporary assignment in the Central region. The role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care and supporting surgeons in the Operating Theatre. Candidates must have a valid nursing certificate and experience in OT nursing. Qualifications
- Prior experience and training in Operating Theatre nursing (scrub and/or circulating).
- Must be able to work AM and PM shifts; night duty preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative support.
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures.
- Uphold infection control, safety standards, and OT workflows.

- Morning: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Afternoon: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Night: 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.
- Provide perioperative nursing care, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative support
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties in accordance with OT protocols
- Ensure proper preparation, sterility, and availability of surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures
- Monitor patient condition and document care according to clinical requirements
- Uphold infection control, safety standards, and OT workflows
- Support theatre turnover and daily operational efficiency
- Registered Nurse with valid practising certificate
- Prior experience and training in Operating Theatre nursing (scrub and/or circulating)
- Able to commit 3–5 days per week
- Must be able to work AM and PM shifts; night duty preferred
