Job summary
A healthcare facility in Singapore is looking for a therapy assistant to support therapists in various tasks, including preparing patients for treatment and maintaining rehabilitation equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience in healthcare and preferably hold a certification as a therapy assistant. Key responsibilities include assisting in therapeutic exercises and ensuring the cleanliness of the rehabilitation environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in healthcare is preferred.
- HMI/ITE certification for therapy assistant is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of patients for treatment.
- Assist in setting up rehabilitation equipment for treatment.
- Assist in teaching and supervising therapeutic exercises.
- Assist in applying electrical modalities as prescribed by therapists.
- Help in lifting and transferring patients.
- Maintain and clean rehabilitation equipment.
- Check and update inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness in rehabilitation gyms.
Skills
Education
A therapy assistant will assist the therapists in the areas of preparation for therapy session, implementation of therapy as instructed by therapist, supervision of patient and maintenance of rehabilitation equipment.

- Assist in teaching and supervision of therapeutic exercises as prescribed by therapists
- Assist in preparation and application of electrical modalities as prescribed by therapists
- Assist in lifting and transferring of patients
- Maintenance and cleaning of rehabilitation equipment
- Checking and updating inventory
- Maintain cleanliness and order of rehabilitation gyms
- Preferably with relevant experience in healthcare
- Preferably with HMI/ITE certification for therapy assistant
