Job summary

A local staffing agency in Singapore is seeking an AV Support Technician to provide onsite and offsite support for various school events, including assemblies and performances. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in AV & media equipment management and the ability to train students and staff in AV programs. This role requires strong teamwork skills, good communication abilities, and physical capability. The position is an 11-month contract, requiring 42 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in AV & media equipment management, preferably in a school environment.
  • Ability to perform job-related physical tasks.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite/offsite AV, lighting, audio, and media support for school events (assemblies, performances, mass celebrations).
  • Conduct AV/media training for students, staff, and student ICT representatives.
  • Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and operation of AV & media equipment (projectors, visualisers, AV systems, iPads, laptops, printers, PLDs, etc.).
  • Support national examinations and other school programmes.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and usability checks of AV & media equipment.
  • Assist in procurement, installation, servicing, and inventory management of AV & media equipment.
  • Maintain accurate equipment logs, inventory records, and reports.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in AV & media equipment management, maintenance, and inventory, preferably in a school environment.
  • Ability to perform job‑related physical tasks.
  • Strong teamwork skills to support the ICT team (ICT Manager and desktop engineers).
  • Ability to train, guide, and mentor students in AV & media programmes.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Duration and Working Hours

11 months contract (Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026)

42 hours per week
