Job summary
LEE AH MOOI OLD AGE HOME is seeking a Driver to transport residents for medical appointments and assist with errands. This role requires a Class 3 Driving License, CPR certification, and a good understanding of simple English. Successful candidates will enjoy a supportive environment with training programs available for those lacking certain qualifications. The position ensures a vital service to the community while fostering care and assistance for elderly residents.
Qualifications
- Able to speak and understand simple English.
- Class 3 Driving License.
- CPR + AED certification.
Responsibilities
- Transport residents from the nursing home for their routine medical appointments.
- Coordinate with the Manager in planning the route and timing of transport.
- Maintain cleanliness and working condition of the van.
- Attend to any other delivery requirements or errands when needed.

Qualifications:
- Primary education or equivalent.
- Able to speak and understand simple English.
- Good organizational ability.
- Class 3 Driving License.
- Defensive Driving skills.
- CPR + AED certification.
Clinical Care
- Assist registered nurses in delivering nursing care to residents.
- Assist physiotherapists in delivering therapeutic activities.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for residents.
- Accompany residents to hospital or polyclinic for follow-up appointments.
Note: Successful applicants without the necessary qualifications will be enrolled in the Certificate in Community Care (Community Care Traineeship Programme), with all courses funded by the employer.
