Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring guests have a satisfying dining experience at Violet Oon, from arrival to departure.
  • Achieve service objectives through proper beverage preparation, presentation, and maintaining cleanliness of the bar, in compliance with established standards.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations mandated by government agencies.
  • Meet beverage sales targets by upselling and promoting beverages to guests.
  • Reduce wastage and spillage.
  • Complete all mise-en-place before operation, such as garnishes and glassware.
  • Ensure all equipment is operational.
  • Order and store stock appropriately.
  • Conduct monthly inventory of equipment and utensils.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bar.
  • Notify the manager on duty of any beverage product shortages.
  • Upsell food and beverage products when taking orders.
  • Greet guests warmly, thank them, and bid farewell.
  • Coordinate with the manager on event and function beverage requirements.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
  • Assist the manager in establishing maintenance and cleaning schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
