Epergne Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Squad Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in Agile DevOps methodology and have a strong background in sprint management. You will have extensive experience in the banking domain and a solid understanding of back-end technologies (such as Java Spring Boot). While this is a technical role, hands‑on coding is not a mandatory requirement. You will be responsible for leading a squad of developers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Your role will involve collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to create seamless and efficient user experiences. You will also be expected to mentor team members, conduct sprint planning and reviews, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

• Lead and manage a squad of developers in an Agile DevOps environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Mentor and guide team members.
• Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Ensure adherence to Agile DevOps best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code (optional).
• Participate in agile development processes.
• Develop and maintain documentation.
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications.
• Implement automated testing and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with product managers to define project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the squad.

• At least 10 years’ experience as a senior software engineer (full stack preferably)
• Worked at least 3 years in agile environment and familiar with agile processes and practices.
• Has the ability to provide technical leadership for the squad and enforce the Definition of Done.
• Can act as a servant leader that encourages collaboration and open communication.
• Experience in removing impediments and blockers for the squad.
• Experience in providing insight, measurement, accountability, and a positive working environment.
• Have good experience and understanding of Retail, Digital or Internet Banking Domain.
• Strong organisation skills and a clear communicator.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Overall 10-12 years of experience in software development.
• Strong background in Agile DevOps methodology.
• Proven experience in sprint management.
• Extensive experience in the banking domain.
• Strong understanding of Java Spring Boot and React.js.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Experience with common development tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
