Job summary

- Develop and implement global and local merchandising and category management strategies.
- Analyze business environments, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
- Plan and manage product assortments, including pricing, promotions, and visual merchandising to align with global guidelines and local market needs.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from concept and sampling to launch and quality control.
- Identify and evaluate new product ideas and work with suppliers to drive innovation.
- Monitor and analyze sales reports, sell‑through rates, and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and profitability.
- Make data‑driven recommendations for replenishment, markdowns, and other strategic decisions.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of merchandising efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and operations to align on campaigns and initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including vendors, suppliers, and retail partners.
- Degree in Merchandising, Retail Management, Business, or a related field.
- At least 3 years in merchandising, buying, or category management, preferably in a global retail environment.
- Strong analytical skills, proficient in using Excel and other retail and data systems.
- Ability to develop and execute strategies, balance competing priorities, and make sound business decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with global and local teams.
- A strong understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.
