Job summary

A global biopharma company in Singapore seeks a T&P Lead to develop and execute tender and pricing strategies. Job Purpose

The individual in this role will be responsible and accountable for developing and effectively executing tender and pricing strategies to deliver business objectives. They will ensure adherence to governance processes and the internal control framework, as well as local operating procedures, and alignment with promotional, marketing and competitive guidelines.

To deliver the above, the T&P Lead must demonstrate a good understanding of the tender and pricing landscape in Singapore, adherence to governance frameworks and internal/external systems and processes. The ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, work with agility and operate at pace are critical in this role for delivering GSK's broader mission to improve the quality of human life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic engagement and planning:
    • Define and drive the tender and pricing strategy for Singapore to maximize revenue and profitability.
    • Maintain full visibility of tender timelines and perform price‑volume and price‑sensitivity analyses to make data‑driven recommendations.
    • Deliver annual contract pricing strategy based on historical and competitive data.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with key external stakeholders including the Ministry of Health, Group Procurement Office, ALPS, hospital procurement teams and other decision-making/key-account bodies.
    • Drive alignment and engagement with internal stakeholders (not an exhaustive list): Commercial, Medical Governance, Regulatory, Market Access/Pricing, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Supply/Demand, etc.
    • Engage GSK global and regional functions to ensure pricing recommendations are aligned and adhered to.
  • Finance and forecasting:
    • Lead demand forecasting (DRM) for brands under tender. Navigate and mitigate supply challenges to ensure business continuity and avoid potential penalties.
    • Continuously analyze the market landscape to identify opportunities for growth and improved profitability.
  • Compliance and Governance:
    • Ensure robust governance processes and ways of working. Work closely with Medical Governance, Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to GSK standards.
    • Escalate risks/issues to LOC RMCB when needed and ensure corrective actions/CAPAs are created and followed up in a timely manner.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    • Set, align and follow through on agreed KPIs for tender and pricing initiatives.
    • Provide input on tender and pricing to the LOC MPR and forecast cycle based on regular performance reviews.
Qualifications/Skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • A degree in Science, Business or Marketing.
  • 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing/sales.
  • Strong knowledge of the Singapore healthcare system.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with HCPs, key institutions, professional associations, decision makers and other key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, independent and able to act as a change agent.
