Part of Group Technology Procurement family, we are looking for a candidate who is responsible for developing and executing category strategies to deliver value in technology. The Technology Professional Services Category Manager must be conversant with procurement practices and be able to effectively influence multiple diverse stakeholders to drive aggregation of volume as well as negotiate successful outcomes with vendors.
The Category Manager is responsible for implementing sourcing strategy in areas of IT & Networks Professional Services, Application Support Development and Maintenance, IT Hardware Infrastructure Support and Manpower Rate Card.
This role will be business-partnering the IT & Networks stakeholders and you will be required to keep abreast of supply market/ economic changes in the technology space as well as be proficient in the application of appropriate sourcing levers to achieve an optimal commercial outcome.
The candidate should also possess good people skills to achieve highly satisfactory internal customer experience whilst ensuring compliance to policy.
