Job description
Role:

He/She is to proactively manage enterprise application development and operation, ICT(Information and Communication Technology) governance and performance management, including managing a portfolio of maintenance and development projects.

He/She will require good end-to-end understanding of the development of a mission critical system, from network infrastructure, operating systems, database storage to web application, including management of proper project governance processes, managing project stakeholders, end users and vendor management and their respective contracts.

He/She will be responsible for managing and monitoring Service Level Agreement’s (SLA) requirements to ensure the contractual requirements level are met; to maintain long term healthy customer.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the procurement of ICT products and services.
  • Management of vendor services and contracts, to ensure ICT governance and services are delivered on time, within budget and meets operation requirements.
  • Lead and drive a team of project managers and vendors in the effective delivery of ICT application services from project conceptualisation through to support maintenance and operation.
  • Meeting compliance to tender requirement, policy and international standards to ensure that project / systems meets proper governance, financial and performance requirement.
  • Manage and communicate with key holders on operational support daily.
  • Identify operational gaps and drive to ensure closure, both internally and externally.
  • Drive the adoption and transformation to Native Cloud computing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 years in relevant ICT experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in leading ICT application projects and managing project teams.
  • Full-time involvement in at least 1 x SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
  • Strong communication and presentation skill.
  • Excellent technical written and SDLC project documentation.
  • Project Planning, Analytical thinking and strong problem solving and project management skills.
  • Self-motivate. Ability to work independently and a natural leader to set direction for team and project stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading support team in troubleshooting application and / or infrastructure issues.
  • Relevant ICT certification, CITPM, PMP.
  • Ad hoc support for mission critical system, 24/7 Phone Standby, Night and weekend ICT activity such as support, and deployment is expected.
