Senior Systems Analyst
Job summary
A leading staffing services firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced developer to support applications within the Geospatial Services Unit. The ideal candidate has a degree in Information Technology, with over 3 years of experience using C#, .Net, JavaScript, and databases like MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL. You will engage with users, provide technical support, and develop solutions while familiarizing yourself with new technologies including ESRI software. This position encourages a positive attitude toward learning and adapting to challenges.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in development using C#, .Net, JavaScript, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python and Arcade.
- Effective communication skills, able to convey complex concepts.
Responsibilities
- Attend to queries and issues encountered by users of applications.
- Perform system enhancements through application configuration and development.
- Provide application demonstration, training, and technical support.

- Attend to the queries and issues encountered by users of the applications managed by Geospatial Services Unit in GSS Section
- Perform system enhancements through application configuration changes and development
- Provide application demonstration, training and technical support and explore new technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Member of the project that will migrate the network into Esri Utility Network for the client Mapping System (GEMS). Provide advice on the best practices for mapping data management, review new workflows and participate on the creation of test cases and execution of SIT and UAT
- Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or its equivalent
- 3 Years + experience in development using C#, .Net, JavaScript, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with scripting and automation using Python and Arcade
- Able to develop solutions to business requirements/problems and evaluate solutions provided by vendors
- Effective communications skills and able to conceptualise, convey complex concepts in a manner easy to understand.
- Experienced in engaging cross functional business, IT stakeholders and vendors.
- Positive, willingness to learn new technologies quickly and adapting to new challenges
- Good working knowledge of ESRI software and experience in Utility Network
