Junior Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical & Electrical Industry) - 0221
Job summary
A leading Mechanical & Electrical services provider in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor. Responsibilities include evaluating tenders, preparing cost estimations, and monitoring project budgets. The ideal candidate should have experience in calculating construction costs and assisting with contractual claims. Interested candidates should send their resumes to the provided contact email. Qualifications
- Experience in evaluation of tender and preparation of Bill of Quantity.
- Familiarity with database establishment for costs and materials.
- Ability to calculate construction costs based on drawings.

- Establish cost databases for projects.
- Assist in assessing contractual claims and work progress.
- Invite sub-contractors to submit quotations.
- Prepare project budgets and reports.

- Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender submission and Bill of Quantity
- Establish database for costs, materials and supply sources.
- To calculate the cost of construction for a project (Pre-contract) based om the drawings and documents.
- To assist in the assessment of all contractual claims, work progress, etc.
- To invite sub-contractors of various trades to submit quotations for the projects and evaluate the quotation accordingly to the necessary award of the Sub-Con.
- Preparation of project budgets, reports and cost estimation.
- Monitor budget and keep track of direct costs on projects.
- To resolve any outstanding claim issues on Final Accounts and Variation Orders promptly
