A leading FinTech company in Singapore is seeking a Platform and Infrastructure Team Lead to guide their team. This role involves a balance between management and technical tasks, including overseeing large-scale infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and developing automation strategies. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, experience in Linux and AWS, and the ability to mentor staff. We want a senior technologist and people person to take the next step in their career and lead our staff in the Asia Pacific region. We are made up of Systems, Networks and Security Specialists whose job is to build and maintain LMAX's infrastructure, enforce regulatory compliance, and provide a stable platform for our state-of-the-art trading engines.

For this role we’re looking for a hands‑on team lead. You’re familiar with on-premise Linux as well as AWS, and you’ve managed large‑scale infrastructure before.
The Platform and Infrastructure Team Lead guide both the tactical and strategic direction of their team. They have an input into our function’s roadmap, and are responsible for delivering towards our business goals. We expect a 40/60 managerial vs technical split of day‑to‑day activities.
A people‑focused leader who thrives on facilitating team success. You know when to get hands‑on, and when to step back and let your team achieve. You are able to balance operational BAU with project delivery.
You have a strong technical background who can teach people and automate as required.
You are used to interacting with engineers of different disciplines, and non‑technical stakeholders. You have well developed soft skills, providing focus and direction for a team, their processes, and communication.
