Strategic Head of Cost & Contract - APAC Retail
Job summary
A leading F&B company in Singapore is looking for a seasoned Head of Cost & Contract to manage financial and commercial aspects of store renovation and construction programs. This strategic role involves overseeing cost management, procurement, and contract administration to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Requires a Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying or similar, with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Singapore regulations and an established network in the construction sector are essential.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in cost management focusing on retail or F&B.
- Experience leading cost and contract functions for multi-site rollouts.
- Strong grasp of Singapore building regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop the project cost plan and budget for store rollout.
- Lead procurement and tender processes for project services.
- Negotiate construction contracts and manage variations.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks across projects.
- Build and mentor a cost & contract management team.
